June 16-27 Safety Town
The Burlington Jaycees sponsor Safety Town, a safety education program for preschoolers, at Waller School, 195 Gardner Ave. Safety Town is open to all children in the Burlington School District who are entering kindergarten this fall. During this 20-hour course (two hours each day, Monday through Friday, for two weeks), preschool children learn safety behavior by participating in fun activities in a miniature town just their size, complete with buildings, streets, sidewalks and signs. Licensed instructors teach about safety both inside and outside the home. Children also enjoy field trips to the Burlington police and fire departments. September 14th NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick

This NFL National skills program provides boys and girls the opportunity to showcase their Punting, Passing and Kicking abilities. There is no fee to participate. Winners in each age group will advance to sectional competition. See NFL Pepsi Punt Pass & Kick Competition

October 3rd 1St Annual Golf Outing

Burlington Jaycees will host a golf Outing at Hawks View Golf Course. "This isn't your boss' golf Outing" is our theme and whether you are a Pro or Amateur you are going to have fun. This outing will be on the Par 3 course. Check back for more details and sign up information.

April MLB Pepsi Pitch Hit & Run

This MLB National skills program provides boys and girls the opportunity to showcase their Pitching, Hitting and Running abilities. There is no fee to participate. Winners in each age group will advance to sectionals. Contact Nathan Libbey 661-4381 for More information.

The event is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 14. Birth certificate is required at registration the day of the competition. Age group is determined as of Dec. 31 of current year. Dyer School 12:15 sign-up competition 1:00
